…If you suffer from allergies! In the fall of 1999 my wife and I were so excited to move to Chico. On September 13, we drove into town greeted by a beautiful sunrise. We knew that we had found a great community with wonderful outdoor recreation and people who made the Chico one of the most special places in California. 

Then Spring came…. And along with the North Valley’s incredibly beautiful spring came itchy eyes, runny nose and headaches. In a matter of days, our fairy tale like life in Chico became a living hell because I experienced the worst symptoms I had ever had.

Many of you know what I’m talking about. Chico’s spring and summer can be a disaster…burning and itchy eyes that won’t quit. You blow your nose, and within 2 seconds you have to blow it again, with no relief.

Flowers, and perfumes would set me off for hours. And the nut trees really drove me nuts too! The symptoms were so severe that at times that I’d just leave work early if I could to go home and sleep.

Things were so bad, it looked like we were going to have to pull up stakes and find somewhere else to live. Then, I asked an important question. “How would I treat a patient with this problem?”

So it was, “Physician Heal Thyself!” I called an out of town colleague and scheduled a series of visits at his office to harmonize the energy of my body with the energies of the things I was sensitive to so they would not bother me any more. Within a few weeks, my symptoms were gone without shots or drugs. No more anti-histamines for me because my body had been desensitized. No more time lost at work, or missed gatherings with friends because of the symptom of allergies.  And for the first time in my entire life I could smell sweet honeysuckle and roses without fearing that I would pay the price for days later.  Ahhhh…once again, life in Chico could be enjoyed.

Since that time, I have focused my work and extensive post-graduate education for the last 10 years on helping people with digestion disorders and sensitivities to foods.  No other doctor in the North State has as much experience and training in alternative approaches to helping you with these problems.
